Shaunna Balady
MANAGING PARTNER
Shaunna is recognized as an accomplished M&A Executive having provided leadership to both global publicly traded and privately owned companies ranging in size from $5 million to over $100 billion in revenue. During her career, she has generated significant value by completing over 100 transactions totaling over $20 billion in enterprise value across 5 continents, primarily in the application software and automation technology segments for well-known companies like GE, Rockwell Automation, and AVEVA/Schneider Electric.
She also brings a wealth of knowledge as a former operator having served as the Chief Operating Officer of an application software company which realized a successful exit in 2023. As a subject matter expert around topics that include SaaS, Data Analytics, AI, Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, she regularly provides consulting to well established SaaS software companies and highly regarded private equity firms. In addition, she serves as a board member of a SaaS application company and a mentor to a Nevada start-up.
As a proud mother of a daughter who will be a future Navy pilot and a gifted autistic son, she is committed to donating the bulk of Paragon Software Advisors’ net proceeds to organizations that support veterans and the special needs community as well as collaborating with the Paragon Software Advisors’ clients to support charitable causes that they support.
Kelly Kunkle
MANAGING PARTNER
Kelly has nearly three decades of broad experience in software and technology, with a track record of success. He is a veteran corporate change agent, having served as Vice President of Strategy at AVEVA, and in Senior Director roles in AVEVA's Marketing organization. His efforts have generated tremendous value, including spearheading post-merger and post-acquisition integrations between major corporate entities. As an entrepreneur, Kelly founded SuperQ Software Corporation, a Statistical Process Control (SPC) software and consulting company that served industrial automation and healthcare sectors. As CEO, he actively managed all aspects of the company, from which he successfully exited seven years later.

With a BS in Electronic Engineering Technology from University of Hartford and an MBA from University of Connecticut, Kelly is a strong proponent of continuous personal and professional challenge and the developmental rewards that result from that path, including strong competence across a spectrum of technical and business arenas.

A proud father of a son and daughter, he is committed to Paragon Software Advisors' mission to “give back and pay it forward” by helping software business owners plan and execute the biggest financial transaction of their lives (in most cases).
